14-Day Return Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy with your photo book for any reason, you may return it within 14 days of receiving your order for a full refund.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return, your photo book must be:

In unused, mint condition (no marks, creases, or signs of use)
In its original packaging
Returned within 14 days of delivery

Please note: Since our books are signed, limited editions, they cannot be resold if damaged or used. We reserve the right to refuse returns for books that show signs of use or damage.

How to Return

Contact us first: Email us at studio@mikaeljansson.com with your order number and reason for return
Wait for authorization: We’ll send you return instructions and confirmation
Pack securely: Use the original packaging and pack the book carefully to prevent damage during shipping
Ship the book: Send it to the return address we provide
Get your tracking number: Keep proof of shipment for your records

Important: Do not send your book back without contacting us first. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

You are responsible for return shipping costs
We recommend using a tracked, insured shipping method
We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit
Original shipping costs are non-refundable

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your returned book:

We will email you confirmation of receipt
If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account

Deductions: Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

Damaged or Defective Books

If your photo book arrives damaged or defective, we will replace it or issue a full refund at no cost to you.

Report Damage Immediately

The book arrived damaged during shipping
There are printing defects or quality issues
Pages are missing or incorrectly bound
You received the wrong book

What we need:

Your order number
Clear photos showing the damage or defect
Description of the issue

Our Response

For approved damage claims:

First option: We’ll send a replacement book at no charge
Second option: Full refund including original shipping costs
You will not need to return the damaged book unless specifically requested

What Cannot Be Returned

We cannot accept returns for:

Books showing signs of use, damage, or wear
Books with damaged or missing original packaging
Books returned after 14 days from delivery
Books damaged due to improper handling after delivery

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a book:

Return your original book following the process above
Place a new order for the book you want

This ensures you receive your new book as quickly as possible.

International Returns

For international orders:

All return policies apply
You are responsible for return shipping and any customs fees
We recommend using tracked, insured international shipping
Refunds will not include import duties or customs fees paid on the original order

Cancellations

Before shipping: You may cancel your order for a full refund if you contact us before the book has shipped.

After shipping: Once your book has shipped, our standard return policy applies.
