Speed of Life: Points on a Line from A to B was published in connection with an exhibition at Kulturhuset in Stockholm and presents photographs made by Mikael while following the Formula 1 circuit around the world between 2003 and 2006.
The work was produced at race locations across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas, including São Paulo, Monza, Shanghai, Bahrain, Monte Carlo, and Indianapolis. Moving beyond the race itself, the photographs document drivers, mechanics, pit lanes, circuits, and spectators, capturing Formula 1 as a complete environment.
Designed by Greger Ulf Nilsson, with text by Ulrich Lehmann, and published by Steidl in 2007.
